GenieSummary
Sleepy Hollow State Park in Ovid, MI is a beautiful, well-wooded and cozy park that campers will love. The grounds are well-maintained and the rangers are friendly. Most campsites have a nice row of trees and bushes between them for privacy, but there are some breaks here and there. For the most part, it feels like campers are in their own wooded glen. The park features a nice fishing lake and many good bike trails. The electric system has been updated, and every site now has its own dedicated electric hook up. The park has water spigots throughout and a clean bathhouse with toilets and showers. There are also some larger concrete paved pull-thru sites that are only slightly more expensive, but really worth the extra cost. Overall, it is a nice park and a great spot to camp and relax. The only negative is that some employees could use some people skills as they were unfriendly and not very helpful. The rate for campsites is reasonable and does not include the Michigan Recreation Passport fee.
