Campground-R-Us in Owosso, Michigan is located on the site of an old quarry, which provides a beautiful lake and a large beach area for guests to enjoy. With plenty of family-oriented activities, kids will be entertained with the giant jumping pillow, paddle boat rentals, and many recreational opportunities. Though new sites on the east and south side of the lake are very wide, they are not very deep and have a significant slope toward the lake that can make it difficult for larger RVs to level out. The campsites have fire pits, picnic tables, and a small tree, and are fully graveled. The campground can be quiet and peaceful, though there are a number of seasonal or permanent rentals. However, the roadways can be narrow and challenging to navigate for larger rigs, and guests should be aware they will need to pay a fee for every family member who visits the campground. There are no shower facilities, and guests drawing water from the spigots may find the water discolored or with red flakes in it, so it is recommended to use a water filter.
