Lower Falls Tahquamenon Falls State Park in Paradise, MI offers level campsites for RVers in a lush natural setting. The sites vary in size from smaller back-ins to pull-throughs suitable for fifth wheels, and all feature reliable electrical hookup. Hiking trails and walking paths, including some that lead to the falls, await, and the snowshoeing and hiking experiences in winter are amazing. Some of the trails and roads are plowed and maintained in winter, allowing for outdoor exploration even in snowy conditions. Although only vault toilets are available, they were kept clean and well-maintained during our stay. The park is quite large, so visitors should expect to drive to destinations, but there is plenty to see and do. Overall, its a quiet and relaxing campground that offers easy access to the Tahquamenon River and the attractions of Lake Superior.
