Petoskey Campground is a stunningly beautiful location for a campground with access to Lake Michigan, downtown Petoskey and the Little Traverse Wheelway. The campground is open to day-use and has a heavily used bike path running right through it, making it a great spot for cyclists. The park also features a small sandy beach, perfect for finding Petoskey stones. The park sits between a hospital and water treatment plant, one of which can be smelly on warm days the other of which has a very loud HVAC system generating lots of noise. The campground also has full hook-ups, making it a great spot for motorhomes. The nearby town of Petoskey has great restaurants, shopping, parks, and a marina with a scenic breakwater lighthouse. The campground is managed by a great staff and people have been returning for over 20 years for lengthy stays. The nearby community of Bay Harbor is also a great place to visit.

Magnus Municipal Park is a modern campground located on the shores of Little Traverse Bay in Petoskey, Michigan. The park offers 72 full-service hook-up sites, a 1,000 ft. bathing beach, picnic area, bike paths, play area, and a small overlook called 'Wayside Park' that provides a spectacular view of the bay.
