Pinconning County Park is a smaller campground on the Saginaw Bay with lots of seasonal campers, but it is very clean and quiet. The beach and playground areas are nice and have few visitors. The boardwalk that winds through the woods and marsh has numerous raised outlook platforms that provide great views. Some sites have a concrete pad and patio, which are preferable. The bathrooms are clean, but the showers have preset temperatures. The electrical and water connections are shared between sites and can be difficult to reach. The campsites are not always level. There are lots of trails for hiking and exploring. Pinconning is a couple of miles away for any supply runs. The price is reasonable and does not include the day pass for the park, which costs $3 and can also be purchased annually for $12.

From The Campground

Pinconning Park is a beautiful campground located on the Saginaw Bay. It offers stunning views of the bay and is a popular spot for fishing, hunting, kayaking, and ice fishing. The park has two playground areas, BBQ grills, and a maintained sandy beach with a changing station and rinse off shower. It also offers heated cabins for winter visitors who bring their ATV's or snowmobiles. Pinconning Park has some of the lowest camping rates in Michigan and is committed to providing quality outdoor recreational opportunities at a very competitive price.
