What others are saying about this campground
Port Crescent Campground is a clean and comfortable campground located on the eastern part of the Saginaw Bay. With lake views even from sites not on the water, its the perfect spot for families or those who are new to camping. The campground offers bathrooms and showers, as well as electric and water for RVs, and features a private beach with white sand and a volleyball net. It is also close to many activities such as fishing, kayaking, and hiking, as well as the Port Austin Reef Lighthouse, a Dark Sky Preserve, and a Farmers Market during the summer months. The campground is quite busy, so be sure to learn their online reservation system and book quickly if you have a specific site in mind. The roads are narrow and in bad condition, and campsites are small and too close together. There is also limited cell service and no wood for sale at the campground. Despite these drawbacks, Port Crescent is a great place to enjoy the beach, swimming, sunbathing, and exploring the local area.
