Goodale State Park is a great destination for campers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With its beautiful lake and lush forests, it is the perfect spot for a peaceful camping trip. The campground has plenty of sites, some of which are close together, but all of which are well-maintained and have plenty of trees and bushes for added privacy. The campground has clean shower rooms with hot water, 50 amp service, and marked trails for exploring the area. There is also a dog beach, several grills and picnic tables for cooking out, and a Civilian Conservation Corps Museum and nursery for a self-guided tour. The beach is a bit small, but the water is warm and clean and swimming is allowed. There is a daily entrance fee of $9, or you can get an annual pass. The campground is conveniently located off US127 freeway, and there is no WiFi but cell service is available. The only downside is that there is only one dump station for the entire park, so it can get busy at check-out time.
