Hurricane River Campground is a rustic campground located along the Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore. There are also hiking trails around, including the North Country Trail, and you can take a short drive to Grand Marais and the Au Sable Lighthouse. There is limited cell service unless you are close to Grand Marais or Munising. Quiet hours are 8pm-8am and the campground is pet-free. The campground is perfect for a peaceful getaway, and is best to arrive early in the summer months to get a site.
