This campground is the perfect home base for exploring the area. It offers large concrete pads with tables and fire rings, as well as a contemporary pool, poolhouse, shower, and entertaining area. The mens shower unfortunately has no place to put dry clothes, as the floor is flooded and there are no chairs, tables, or shelves. The gravel and sand sites have never been packed down, so it is advised to be careful when backing in. The owner and staff are excellent and accommodating, however they are not very responsive when it comes to refunds. There is a shed at the entrance with a sign saying Closed Honk Horn and one must call several times to reach the owner. Firewood, picnic tables, and info about seasonal rates are not available.
