Kal-Haven Campground is a great destination for biking, hiking, and running enthusiasts. Located just off the Kal-Haven Trail, the campground offers a variety of amenities, including linens and basic supplies, firewood delivery to cabins, friendly and helpful staff, and cabins that can comfortably accommodate up to eight people. The campground also offers a large playset for kids, a sand volleyball court, and two horseshoe pits. Unfortunately, the road inside the campground is hard packed sand and gravel and has numerous potholes. AT&T cellular reception is barely useable, and there is no wi-fi in the park. The trailer sites have no shade, but there are a lot of young trees that will provide shade once they grow up. Nearby attractions include the Blue Stairs Beach at Lake Michigan, Bardens Market, the Depot, and 3 Blonds Brewery.
