This RV park is located in the beautiful town of South Haven, Michigan, on the shore of Lake Michigan. It is conveniently located close to downtown and the Kal-Haven Rail-Trail, making it a great base camp for those who want to explore the area. The campground is a small, older park with level, gravel, asphalt spots for the picnic table area. Firewood is available for purchase from the Moose Lodge next door for $5 per bundle. There is one shower and one bathroom, however, the bathroom needs a deep cleaning. The manager in Florida is great to work with, but due to not being on-site, the park can be a bit run-down. The park is pet-friendly and allows tents for visiting grandchildren. There is an extension cord for 110-volt service and a fire ring with wood available. Overall, it is a nice experience, however, the lack of amenities and the filthy bathroom facility can be a bit of a disappointment.
