This campground is the perfect spot for a family getaway. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, including canoe trips, a pool, a basketball court, a camp store, and playgrounds. The Rifle River is perfect for tubing and kayaking, and you can even launch from the access a couple of miles down the road. The campground is busy and a bit pricey, but its well worth it for the activities and amenities. The campground is not heavily wooded, but there are some nicely landscaped areas. The kids activity room has lots of cobwebs and dead bugs, and late at night there are sometimes drunk people playing loud music. There is a propane fill and free use of adapters if your camper is 30 amp and the site is 50. Large group sites are available in the modern camping area.
