This campground is located in a beautiful, peaceful setting and is perfect for a soul-refreshing getaway. It may be a bit outdated and could use some updates, but the large, spacious sites and peaceful atmosphere more than make up for it. The roads need some work, as there are many potholes, and the grass could use cutting, but the staff are attentive and friendly. Guests can drive around and pick their own site, and there are plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained. There are two outdoor pools with plastic liners, and the bathrooms have been recently redone. The campground is pet-friendly, but requires proof of vaccination. Verizon service does not work here, but Sprint does with an outside antenna and amp. The campground is family-oriented and does not nickel and dime guests. The biggest downside is the mosquitoes, but Citronella sticks can help keep them away.
