This campground is an older mobile home park with a few sites for short-term stays. The roads are narrow and full of potholes and mud, so you must be careful when driving. The pull-through sites have 50 amp electric, water, a picnic table and fire ring. The electric looks like it has been updated, and there is a limited number of TV stations available via batwing. The people who run the park are friendly and helpful, and the park has access to the Tawas River, which is great for canoeing. Unfortunately, the park is a little run down and needs some attention to the roads, and there is a lot of trash and noise from the softball tournament and DJ playing late at night. Despite this, it is conveniently located and close to Lake Huron.

The park amenities include direct access to the Tawas River, fishing, canoe/kayak/boat launching and rental, free Wi-Fi, mature shade trees, riverfront fire rings, covered picnic table pavilion, community game room, laundry facilities, wooded walking trails, and daily planned community activity board. Friendly pets are welcome.
