Munising / Pictured Rocks KOA Journey in Wetmore, MI is a lovely and well-maintained KOA. It is a picturesque campground in a beautiful wooded area. The fall colors were stunning, and every campsite had adequate space between them. The bathrooms are very modern and clean. A helpful map was provided at check-in that showed where the local waterfalls are located. There are a lot of waterfalls in the area! Fire pits are provided, and wood is for sale on site in the office as well as other necessities, making it easy and convenient to settle in. It is located in close proximity to Munising and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore so its a great base for exploring the area. The staff is super friendly and always available to answer questions. Definitely a beautiful campsite that is dog-friendly and worth recommending. I would definitely stay here again when in the UP.
