Traverse Bay RV Resort in Williamsburg, MI is a beautifully landscaped park with a majority of sites owned by individuals who are typically there for the summer. The camping sites are well cared for, and there seems to be a yard contest going on with many folks continuously working on their lots. There are two class A sections only, and the center section is for fifth wheels or class As. The center section was an older campground that was turned into this resort. The roads are narrow and sites a bit difficult to back-in if you have a longer rig. The full-time folks that we met were very nice and provided helpful information about the area. Amenities include a pool, fitness area, and two nice laundry rooms. The pool was closed during our visit since we were late in the season, but there were two very nice dog parks and some nice nature trails for dog walks. The landscaping is well done, and the lots are a good size. The resort is a perfect place to stay for a short visit or a summer, with many things to do in the Traverse City area and not far from many interesting places. Some guests felt it was expensive for what they received, but the beautiful resort is definitely worth a visit if you appreciate a peaceful and serene environment.
