Sturgeon Valley Campground is a 8.0 rated campground located just 3 miles from I-75 and south of the Mackinaw Bridge. It is big rig friendly and offers pull through sites. The campground is situated on a bumpy dirt road, 1.75 miles long, but the owners are very accommodating and friendly. The sites are large, grassy and partly-shaded, and the campground is well-maintained. There is a Frisbee Golf course, and the Sturgeon River runs through the back property, providing access to kayaking and tubing. The campground also features a pool, laundry room, and a camp store. The owners provide free transportation to kayak down the river, and they offer great recommendations for things to see in the area.

Sturgeon Valley Campground is a family and pet-friendly campground located on 111 acres on the Sturgeon River in Michigan. The campground is open year-round and offers clean facilities. Visitors can enjoy rafting, biking, hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and more. The campground has direct access to Trail #7 and is close to the Pigeon River. The owners, Howard and Judy Kromis, aim to please and accommodate everyone that camps with them.
