This campground is the perfect getaway for those looking for a peaceful and quiet retreat. Located in the middle of farm country, the campground is surrounded by trees and lush grass, creating a homey atmosphere. The sites are gravel, and recently redone, offering decent size and mostly level ground. The roads in and out of the campground are hard gravel and a mile or so of dirt road, so go slow. Cell service is low and there is no Wifi, but the pool is one of the biggest around and the owners are very friendly. There are large grassy areas around the sites, perfect for relaxing and taking in the peaceful atmosphere. Mosquitos can be a problem, but the campground is surprisingly quiet, even when it is a holiday weekend. The nearby SPAM museum is a must-see and a great way to explore the area.
