This campground is the perfect destination for those looking for a peaceful and tranquil getaway. With mature trees providing shade and a beautiful lake for swimming and beach activities, this is a great spot for families, seniors, and anyone wanting a little bit of tranquility. The sites are spacious and can easily accommodate big rigs, with electric hookups and 10 sites with water, picnic tables, and fire rings. There is a boat ramp and fishing dock within the park, as well as a dump station. The campground is located 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities, and reservations are highly recommended, especially for weekend stays. There is no WiFi or cable TV, but the lake and beach activities more than make up for it. You can also hear the calls of the loons in the early morning.
