Stony Point Campground is a nice fishing campground with family amenities. The electric-only sites are spacious and most have adequate shade. The swimming beach has a solid sand bottom and is accessible from several sites. The campground can be quite shaded, and wind is usually not a problem. The hosts are friendly and keep track of the people staying there. The beach area is a bit small, and tall grass/weeds attract many bugs. Although the campground has the potential to be better, it appears to be a bit rundown with a lack of maintenance.
