What others are saying
The sites are wooded and close to the bath house. There is a nice sandy beach and access to a fishing dock. The staff was wonderful and the bathrooms/showers were very clean. The roads into the sites were tight and difficult to get into with a 35 ft 5th wheel. The picnic table and fire ring at each site were great, and firewood was sold at the Visitor Center on the honor system. The restrooms were kept very clean, and there were 5 individual locking shower stalls with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. There were plenty of walking paths as well as a 16 mile bike route around the island. There was also access to canoes and kayaks for rent, bikes for rent, a playground, and shady sites with optional electricity. The town had most everything we needed, and the campground was kept very clean.

Lake Bemidji State Park is a beautiful park located in Minnesota. The park offers camping, hiking, fishing, boating, and many other outdoor activities. The park has several campgrounds including the Yellow Medicine River Campground, the backpack/watercraft campground, and the horse campground. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife and offers opportunities for nature viewing.
