Trout Lake Campground is a small, secluded campground located less than 10 minutes from Grand Rapids. It is a great spot for fishing, with plenty of bass and walleye to catch. The campground is mostly occupied by seasonal campers, but there are also some sites available for transient RVers and tent campers. The park recently came under new management and they are working hard to improve the campground. The sites have 30amp electric and water hook-up, as well as a pump out service for $5/40 gallons. There is a swim beach and a pavilion, as well as grills and fire pits at all the tent sites. The campground is located next to a busy road, so it is not the best spot for peace and quiet. The nightly rate is $35, with a weekly rate of $150-200. There are primitive bathrooms, as well as a standard bathroom with showers. The owner is very friendly and even pumped out the sewage for us before we left. The view of Trout Lake is gorgeous and the campground is a great spot for all types of campers. However, there are often drunken parties that last all night, and if you complain about the noise you may be threatened and told to leave.

Formerly known as Kom-On-In Beach Campground, Trout Lake RV Park and Campground is now open with new owners. Covering over 10 acres with both beach front and water views you can enjoy the pristine wilderness along with fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, biking, and wildlife that will awaken you to the true beauty of all that Trout Lake RV Park and Campground has to offer. With both seasonal and short-term sites available along with remote tent sites, you can enjoy camping according to your schedule.
