This campground offers a family-friendly atmosphere with a retro vibe and plenty of amenities. It has a huge playground, shuffleboard, basketball, bean bag toss, and much more, as well as a heated swimming pool great for Minnesota weather. The majority of sites are rented seasonally, so it is best to call ahead to reserve one of the few available spots. There is a large store with groceries, clothing, and food items like sandwiches, pizza, and ice cream. The lakeside sites are level with picnic tables, fire rings, and plenty of shade. Direct TV and WiFi are also available. Unfortunately, the owners can be mean and nasty, and there have been reports of them yelling at other campers for breaking rules. Boat docking facilities are available, but swimming in the lake is not allowed due to weeds. The pool is a good size, but can be crowded with 10-20 active children. Road noise from Hwy 371 and campers driving in and out of their sites can also be an issue.
From The Campground
Crow Wing Lake Campground is located just 10 miles south of Brainerd/Baxter, and 20 miles north of Little Falls on Highway 371. The campground lies on 30 wooded acres of mature trees, on the shores of 400 acre - Crow Wing Lake. We have 80 full hook up sites (some seasonal) and 20 electric/water sites. Each site comes with its own picnic table and fire ring. Our full hook up and most of the electric/water sites also have a 7’ X 20’ cement patio for a more enjoyable camping adventure. Most of our sites offer shade. The campground also offers full service restrooms, laundry facilities, fish cleaning house, boat launch, docks, slips and an on-site store. Our camp store has a variety of things that you might need, or forgot to pack! You can also rent pontoons, canoes, funyaks, paddleboat, and paddleboards here.
