What others are saying about this campground
Crow Wing State Park is a great campground for tent campers, with a rich history in the park and great trails to explore. There are plenty of trees for hammocks and picnic tables, as well as fire pits and bathrooms and showers nearby. The campground is often filled with families enjoying the summertime, but the noise is still at a reasonable level. The trails are well marked and the roads are well maintained, and many sites are visually secluded. The park also has an amphitheater, a group center, and an historic site. Canoe rentals are offered at the park office and the Paul Bunyan Bike Trail passes through the park. There are only a few sites to handle larger RVs, so tents or pop-up trailers would do really well. The park is also close to Camp Ripley, which can be noisy at times. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes can be quite bad, so it is best to keep campground time to a minimum.
