What others are saying
The sites are large and well spaced and the campground is very well kept. The bathrooms are clean and there are several bathhouses. There is a boat launch with double docks and access to the Paul Bunyan State Bike Trail. There are also several nationally ranked golf courses in close proximity. The campground is handicap accessible with broad open campsites, accessible bathrooms, and paved trails. There is a beach with playgrounds and the water is crystal clear. Firewood is available for purchase from a local charity. The campground is part of the Mississippi Headwaters Reservoir Project and there are plenty of fishing opportunities. The campground is quiet and offers a mix of large, secluded sites and some that are perfect for small group caravanning. The staff is friendly and helpful and the facilities are well-maintained and clean.
