Beaver Creek Valley State Park is a hidden gem for a weekend getaway. The campground has a long layout with a bathroom/shower building at the very front of the park. The campsites range in size and privacy levels, so it is important to do some research before booking. The trails throughout the park offer a variety of terrain options, including the Hole-in-rock trail which has some challenging portions. The park is a great spot for trout fishing with world-class fishing options. The park does not have cell phone service so its perfect for a digital detox. The scenery is especially beautiful during the peak fall season.
