What others are saying
Lake Byllesby Regional Park Campground is a great place for a short visit. It has a boat landing, indoor and outdoor bathroom facilities, playground, large tent sites, picnic areas, table and fire ring at each site, and ADA site with extra wide picnic table and wheelchair access. The lake is unfortunately closed due to a chemical spill, but there are plenty of geocaching spots and ice cream treats to enjoy. The town of Cannon Falls is close by for a fun day trip. The campground is well maintained and the hosts are friendly. The county park deputies are seen frequently and the firewood restriction is in place.

Nestled along the shores of Lake Byllesby Reservoir, the largest lake in southern Dakota County, Lake Byllesby Campground offers many lakeside campsites and an array of family activities for a fun-filled camping vacation. Lake Byllesby Campground is located in the scenic Cannon River Valley close to the 26-mile Cannon Valley Trail within Lake Byllesby Regional Park.
