The Cloquet/Duluth KOA Journey in Cloquet, MN offers a pleasant camping experience with well-maintained amenities including clean restrooms, a decent laundry area, and a store with basic essentials. The staff, for the most part, are friendly and courteous. However, there were a few incidents of employee disrespect towards campers. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and has beautiful colors. The dog area is small but everything else is fairly priced, with excellent, friendly staff. The noise of trains at night can be bothersome. The grounds surrounding the site can be uneven but the site itself is nice and clean. It is great that firewood is available but it is expensive. Despite some caveats, the Cloquet/Duluth KOA Journey is a good place to stay and could be perfect for a road trip stopover.
