From The Campground

Pfeiffer Lake Campground & Backcountry Sites is located on the north shore of Pfieffer Lake in Superior National Forest. The campground offers 16 campsites, 2 backcountry sites accessible only by water, a fishing deck, boat landing, playground area, picnic area, sandy beach, and short hiking trail. The sites are on sandy, rolling hills found north of the Laurentian Divide, and many offer great scenic views. The campground has a solar-powered well for water and an outhouse (vault style) for restrooms. The maximum number of people per site is 9, and there is space for 1 vehicle and 1 towed vehicle (such as a boat trailer). Additional vehicles at the site require an additional half fee and must park on the spur. No vehicles may park on the grass or where they impede traffic. ATVs are not allowed.
