Furthermore, visitors will need to purchase a Minnesota State pass at check-in, which is a separate added cost for $7/day or $35 annually. There are two campgrounds at Lake Shetek - Sunrise and Oakwood - across the road from each other. Sunrise is the full hook-up campground, and Oakwood is older. While Oakwood has a mix of electric and non-electric sites, all of them have plenty of privacy and good site sizes. Overall, Lake Shetek State Park is a beautiful and peaceful park to explore, with relatively modern amenities and good facilities.
