Turtle Lake Campground is a peaceful and quiet campground with beautiful views of the lake. There are sites available with W/E, picnic tables, lean to shelters, and fire rings. The sites are not very private, but some are right on the lake. The lake side sites are uneven, so it is recommended to bring plenty of leveling blocks. There is a small store on site, but it is close to the end of the season so the stock is low. The campground is family and pet friendly, and there is plenty for the kids to do. There is an additional daily cost of $5.00 for use of the dump station, boat launch, and dock space. Mosquitoes can be a problem, so it is recommended to bring insect repellent.

Camp Holiday is a resort and campground located on the shores of Turtle Lake in the Mille Lacs/Cuyuna/Brainerd Lakes Area. The resort offers 12 cabins, a seven-bedroom reunion home, 40 campsites, a secluded seven-bedroom private vacation home, and a private four-bedroom cabin on Round Lake. Guests can enjoy fishing from two lakes, swimming in two marked swimming areas with a water slide, bongo raft, swim rafts, and a water mat, and renting paddleboats, paddleboards, kayaks, hydro bikes, canoes, boat/motors, and pontoons. All cabins have HD DirecTV, and WiFi is available throughout the resort. Turtle Lake is known for bass and northern fishing, and there are many varieties of panfish.
