This campground is a great spot for a family getaway or a quick stopover. Located right on a long strip of beach, the campground is cozy but quite crowded due to the number of trailers. The staff is friendly and the area is clean and well-maintained. The park is mostly permanent units and the electric disconnects are old but adequate. The roads are narrow and not suitable for big rigs, but there are plenty of level sites with grass or rock. There is lake access for swimming and boating, and 4-5 docks with boats/rafts tied to them. The WiFi is fast and the staff is welcoming. Unfortunately, not much has changed since the 1970s, but this is not necessarily a bad thing.
