back. This campground is a tranquil and peaceful spot on the banks of the St. Louis River. It is located in an area called New Duluth, about 10 miles away from the city center. The roads through the campground are narrow and can be difficult to maneuver for larger motorhomes, but the sites are level and shaded. There is one shared bathroom and shower, as well as a laundry room with one machine each. The campground is mostly seasonal campers, with about 8-10 sites for short term rental. The campground host is friendly and accommodating, and the owner is very sweet. There is a boat launch and docks for fishing, and the rate for full hook-ups is unbeatable. Verizon air card and cell phone service work well here and there is ample OTA television available. Cash or check only is accepted and the campground is not easily accessible due to construction.

Terrific home base for hikers, mountain bikers, and travelers in town for one of Duluth's many attractions and events.
