This campground is located on top of a hill above Duluth, close to I-35 and other area attractions. Its a great spot for a summertime getaway, with lots of trees providing privacy between sites. Most sites are suitable for tents and pop-ups, although there are a few that are too small for even a car. The utilities for most sites are on the wrong side of the camper, so youll need to run your electric and water across the site and underneath the camper. Unfortunately, many of the sites are unlevel and some are too close to their neighbors. There are bright streetlights that are left on 24-7, and the facilities are in need of upgrades and care. The dump station is difficult to use and the bathrooms are not cleaned on a regular basis. The park is beautiful and serene, and you can often hear the distant hum of I-35. Bring a bicycle to explore the walking trails, and be sure to check out the sites before committing to one.
