The campground is great for those looking for a quiet and peaceful spot to camp, with plenty of hiking and open fields in bloom. There are electric hookups and water at every site, as well as bathrooms and showers at the horse camp. There is a nice little creek behind the site, perfect for playing in. The campground also offers a wildlife edible class, and the historical fort site has lots of great information and signage. Unfortunately, there is no cell phone reception at the campground, but there is service around the historical site.
