This campground is a great option for an overnight stay or for a longer stay if youre looking for a quiet, open country atmosphere. Located 30 minutes south of Minneapolis, its a big, mostly level grassy area with no trees to speak of and just the basics for a RV. There are no sewer hookups but there is water and 50 amp electric, as well as a nearby dump station. The sites are decently sized, and the campground host is very friendly and helpful. The rate is $45 a night, or $550 for a month, and there are no reservations, so you just show up and pick a site. Its a great value, but be aware that there are no resort amenities and during special events, like the county fair, the campground can get crowded.
