Lagoon Park is a City Park and Camping area located on the outskirts of Fergus Falls, MN, featuring around 20 RV and tent sites. The sites have 20/30 amp electrical and water hookups, and some tent-only sites that do not have electricity. Although privacy is limited as there are no trees separating the sites, the views of the adjacent Pebble Lake are beautiful. The park features a playground, modern restrooms, and an access road to a fishing pier. Visitors can enjoy fishing in the lake and watch softball and soccer games on the athletic fields. The walking trail is excellent, and the park roads are good with level sites. The electric hookups are a bit dated but functional. Water from the spigots appeared unfiltered and had a reddish-brown color, which stained the sinks and toilets. The hookups were very loose and seemed unstable, but they did work. Finally, there is no on-site dump station, and campers must go to a gas station a few miles down the road to empty their tanks.

From The Campground

Windom Park Recreation Area is a 25-acre city park located in Montevideo, MN. The park features four tennis courts, a baseball field, sand volleyball court, basketball court, playground equipment, picnic shelter, and a hard-surfaced walking path. It also houses Montevideo's outdoor swimming pool complex, complete with a 151-foot waterslide, wading pool, concession area, and patio. The park is an ideal location for hiking along the Chippewa River.
