Even larger RVs like fifth wheels can fit comfortably without feeling cramped. The campground is well-maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. The well-marked hiking trails offer great opportunities to explore the natural surroundings. Though a train occasionally passes by, it is not a major issue. The swimming area is drained late in the season, but it is clear that it would be a fun spot during the summer. The park has a dump station and a fresh water fill station available.

Buffalo River State Park is a beautiful park located in Minnesota. The park offers a variety of recreational activities such as biking, boating, camping, canoeing/kayaking, cross-country skiing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, hunting & trapping, nature viewing, off-highway vehicle riding, shooting sports, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. The park has several amenities including fishing piers, hunter walking trails, maps, off-highway vehicle trails, ruffed grouse management areas, scientific and natural areas, shooting ranges, state forests, state parks and recreation areas, state trails, state water trails, walk-in access, water accesses, and wildlife management areas.
