From The Campground

Jackson County Parks offers over 200 acres of land throughout Jackson County, with each park having its own unique natural qualities. Five of the parks allow for overnight camping on a first-come, first-serve basis from May 1 to October 31 each year. Brown Park South offers four camping cabins that must be reserved. The parks are open year-round from sunrise to 10:00 p.m. The Parks Department also welcomes gatherings for various events and offers shelter houses for a fee.
