Cedar Bay Campground is a great spot for an overnight stay. Its a small campground with two distinct areas. The area by the lake was quite crowded, but the area up front had about half a dozen sites and was much more peaceful. Both areas have pit toilets, but they were clean. There are electric and water hook-ups, and the tent sites are in a separate area for extra privacy. The campground is located along the lake with multiple docks and a swimming beach nearby. Unfortunately, there are railroad tracks and a town nearby, so you may hear train horns. However, it is a great home base for exploring southwest Minnesota.
