The Knife River Campground is a rustic RV park located just off the Scenic Byway, outside of Duluth and before Two Harbors. It offers Wi-Fi and electric hook-ups for its guests, and is conveniently located for a weekend getaway to Duluth. The campground is small and close to the highway, so it can be noisy. It is also close to the river and a fishing hole, and just a 2 minute walk to the beach of Lake Superior. There are 25 sites, four of which are 50 amp full hook-up pull-through sites. There is no laundry room, pool, or cable tv, but the wifi at the office is good. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and the park is well maintained and clean. It is a great place to stay for a night or two, or even a month if you plan ahead.
