What others are saying
The campground is well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. This campground is situated right on Lake Madison, offering stunning views and plenty of outdoor activities. It has a nice swimming beach, lots of picnic areas, a playground, a boat ramp, and lots of areas to hike, ride a bike or just enjoy the outdoors. The sites are mostly small back-ins, but there are 15 or so sites that work fine for bigger rigs. The campground is well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes were very bad and the water supply smelled like rotten eggs, but the camp hosts were very gracious and accommodating. The sites are level and electric is good, but there is not much for mature trees in the new loop. The shower house is newer, but the showers by the lake could use some updating. There is a vault toilet near by and full bathrooms a short walk away. The bathhouse near site 33 is super clean, with auto flush toilets and auto faucets. There is an extra fee for water and electric, and the campground gates close at 10:00.
