What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located in the middle of beautiful Minnesota farmlands and provides a peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere. The park has four camping areas, with area 4 being the largest and most popular. All sites have easy access and plenty of space around the fire pit. There is a nice trail around the island and good Verizon 4G coverage throughout the park. Areas 3 and 4 have modern flush toilet bath houses. The park entrance and office are nice and there are lots of trees. Unfortunately, there are no pull-through sites or boats to rent. During the week, the campground is quiet, but the weekends bring a respectful and family-oriented crowd. There is a small town nearby with a few restaurants and a library with decent internet access. Biking is a great activity in the area due to the paved roads and little to no traffic. Rates are typical for a county park.

From The Campground

Daly Park & Campground is a scenic, wooded/open-space park located on the northeastern shore of Lura Lake in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. The park provides a wide range of facilities for overnight campers and picnickers, including mobile and tent camping sites, bathhouses, picnic shelters, picnic tables, fire rings/grills, and a dump station. The park also features a fishing pier and dock, a boat launch, and a nature trail. An island with a 0.5 mile-long primitive trail allows exploration of the natural state of the island. A caretaker is in residence year-round. Water to the camp sites and bathhouses may be turned off prior to October 31st, depending on weather and temperatures to prevent damage. There will be a water fill station available.
