Plus the campgrounds are located in the Burch State Forest, making it feel secluded and surrounded by lovely trees. Each site features a fire ring and picnic table, and theres a water well within walking distance. The very knowledgeable and welcoming camp host makes you feel right at home! Registration is easy and self-service, with envelopes provided at the entrance. The sites are decently sized, but not pull-through. There are some pit toilets, dumpsters, and water fill stations around. Birch Lake is perfect for those who want a little privacy; even when busy theres enough space to find a great spot.

From The Campground

Finland Campground and day use area is currently closed for all use, due to extreme winter storm damage and a spruce budworm infestation. We need to assess and remove a great number of hazard trees before the area is safe for visitors. We will reopen the campground as soon as it is safe, but with this degree of damage, we expect it will be closed for two to four months.
