This campground is the perfect place for families and groups looking for a relaxing and fun camping experience. The sites are huge with a picnic table and fire ring, and the grounds are level and grassy with no mud. There are lots of activities for kids, including a pool, playground, baseball field, BMX track, and a nearby golf course called Double Eagle Golf & Grill with great food. The campground is easy to access and the internal roads are wide enough for the biggest rigs. On weekends, staff give the children rides in a train around the park, there are mini-hayrides, and other games. The office is rarely manned and most everything is handled on the honor system. There is also a nice ice cream shop.
