This campground is a great place for a quiet retreat. It offers large, over-sized sites with full hookups for weekend campers and extra charge for summer AC. There is a good sized pool, a full sized disc golf, disc driving range, a mini-golf, v-ball, b-ball, and direct access to the state bike trail. The playground is old-school and the mini-golf is pretty outdated, but it adds some character to the place along with the older buildings and vintage decor. There are even a couple of goats on the property! The owners are friendly and the campground is clean and well maintained. The pool is a favorite with the kids and the sites are nicely shaded and spaced apart. Unfortunately, the maximum length of stay is 38 feet and the pool was very cold. There is also a fee for family to come and visit and it is too far from town to be worth the cost.
