The park has plenty of hiking and biking trails, with 12 miles of trails specifically for horses. There are also a few self-guided hikes and educational nature programs available. The park is close to the small town of New London, which is fun to explore. The park has two campgrounds, one with cabins and tent sites near the wilderness center and one on Andrew Lake.
