Kathio State Park is a beautiful Minnesota park with plenty of trees and seclusion between campsites. The campground is very clean and has a peaceful atmosphere, with the only sounds being the birds, the breeze and crickets. The staff are friendly and the park offers a variety of activities such as biking, swimming, and fishing. There are also many trails for hiking and a fire tower for a great view of the area. The campground is suitable for both tents and large rigs, and there are designated tent sites and electric sites. Although the park does not have a dump station, it is a great destination for a nature-filled getaway.
