This campground is a great spot for those looking to explore Itasca State Park. The campground features many sites that host permanent campers and park models, as well as a small sand beach on Potato Lake. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and they offer pontoon boats, canoes and kayaks for rent. There is also a new boat ramp and fish cleaning house. The campground is well-equipped with a clean shower/bath/laundry facility, multiple games for both kids and adults, and a main office/store with supplies and delicious ice cream and pizza. Full hook ups, including 50 amp Elect., water and sewer, are available. The campground is also great for families with small kids, as there are plenty of activities for them. However, beware that the campground only takes cash.
