This campground is a great destination for those looking for outdoor activities. It features the best bike trails in the area, a swimming pool in a pole barn with translucent doors, a river for tubing and fly fishing for trout, an 18 hole golf course, and access to the Amana colonies. The sites are clean, but not very level, and are situated close to each other. The campground also has a restaurant, bar, and resort offices in a large barn, as well as a campstore with limited hours. There is a problem with thieves stealing coolers, so visitors should be sure to put away all their valuables at night. The campground is located in a beautiful area with stunning views of the surrounding river valleys.

The Old Barn Resort is a historical farm converted into a Minnesota camping and golf resort. With 276 camping sites ranging from rustic tent sites to full hook-up and pull-through RV sites, the resort has accommodations for every camper. The award-winning 18-hole golf course and restaurant/bar are popular attractions, as are the 60 miles of paved bike trail, 3-season swimming pool, and some of the best trout fishing in Southeast Minnesota.
